Introduction to Programming and Algorithms	Definition of algorithms and their importance in programming.
Variables and Data Types	Understanding the concept of variables and the different data types used in programming languages.
Operators	Learning the most important operators for programming logic.
Basic Data Structures	Exploring arrays, lists, dictionaries, stacks, and queues.
Control Structures	Exploring conditionals (if-else) and loops (for, while) to control program execution flow.
Functions	Breaking a program into functions to make maintenance and code reuse easier.
Logical and Analytical Thinking	Developing the ability to think logically and analytically when analyzing and solving computational problems.
Decomposition	Learning to break complex problems into smaller, more manageable problems.
Pattern Identification	Identifying patterns and regularities in problems to develop efficient solutions.
Abstraction	Using abstraction to focus on the relevant aspects of a problem and develop algorithms that solve it efficiently.
Automation and Algorithms	Thinking in terms of algorithms to automate tasks and solve computational problems.

Course mission

After 6 months of scientific research and 18 months of teaching experience, this course was created to help students connect problem reasoning to code more effectively.

During classroom work, it became clear that many students, even when they knew logic and the basics of a language, still struggled to truly program.

That research led to computational thinking as a central path for building cognitive skills focused on solving problems with computers.

This course, together with its companion e-book, was designed to narrow the gap between thought and code through a practical, accessible, and research-based approach.
